About Flagdle
Flagdle is a free flag guessing game you play in the browser, with no sign-up. You see a country's flag and type the country's name. Wrong guesses are not wasted: each one tells you how far away the answer is and in which direction, so the game turns into a geography puzzle as much as a flag quiz. The flag pool has 160 countries from every inhabited continent.
How to play
- Look at the flag and type a country. Pick from the suggestions with the arrow keys and Enter, or tap one.
- If you are wrong, you get the distance between the two capitals, a compass arrow from your guess toward the answer, and a proximity score.
- Use the arrow like a compass: one guess on the right continent plus the direction usually narrows it fast.
- You have six guesses. Stuck? Reveal the region, hemisphere or first letter — each costs a point.
Daily and Endless modes
Daily is one flag a day, the same for everyone, resetting at midnight UTC. Your result shares as a spoiler-free emoji grid: 🟩 for the right answer, 🟨 for a guess within about 2,000 km, 🟧 for one at 70–89% proximity, and ⬛ for anything further, each with its direction arrow. Endless keeps serving flags until you have missed three, scoring each one you solve. After a Daily game you can also send a friend a link that starts them on the same flag.
